Originally the family home of the Spies family, this house was first built in 1992 and lovingly expanded over the years into the warm and welcoming guesthouse it is today.

The heart of Spies Villa belongs to Jane Spies, a remarkable woman whose passion for people and perseverance built a legacy that continues to inspire her family. Jane spent more than 30 years as a leading Tupperware Distributor, running her company Cosmos Sales — named after her love for Cosmos flowers, a symbol of joy, beauty, and resilience. Her dedication and leadership took her across the world, earning international awards and recognition, but her greatest passion was always helping others build a future for their families.

Today, Spies Villa is proudly managed by her children, who continue her spirit of care, integrity, and hospitality. Every detail — from the layout of the rooms to the garden that greets you — reflects Jane’s warmth and love for people.

One of Jane’s lifelong passions has always been the Kruger National Park, a place that inspired her appreciation for South Africa’s natural beauty and tranquility. It’s that same sense of peace and connection to nature that guests experience when staying at Spies Villa.
